Polarizer Replacement to 65"

LCD Displays have two (2) sheets of a glass material bonded together with two (2) outer layers of a special plastic material called a Polarizer. This surface plastic layer sometimes needs to be replaced due to scratches, scuff marks that interfere with the proper viewing of the display.

AGI Tech is equipped with a Clean Room and the automated delaminating and laminating equipment needed to replace any LCD with a new Polarizer on LCDs up to 65".

Additionally, we can retrofit any LCD with Films that offer greater viewing angle or reduce viewing angle for security reasons and/ or reduce glare. Wide Viewing Angle Film will increase in either X-axis or Y-axis the viewing angle up to 135 degree. The Security film will decrease the viewing angle to almost zero.

Normal Polarizer Structure

A normal Polarizer is structured by three layers; polarizing membrane (PVA) and support layers (TAC) on both sides. On this bare polarizer, additional treatments are applied such as adhesive coating, reflector or transflector and other surface treatments.

AGI Tech can analyze the Polarizer film to make sure it is replaced to exact OEM standards.
